To create your Textile Tattoo, place the printed rinse away stabilizer onto your fabric and stitch using your favourite WonderFil threads. You can work with hand embroidery, sashiko, thread painting, or FMQ (free motion quilting) on your sewing machine, bringing each design to life in a free and creative way. A reference image is included to guide and inspire your colour choices, while still leaving space for your own artistic interpretation.
Once your stitching is complete, simply rinse the stabilizer away with water, revealing your design integrated into the fabric, like a small thread tattoo.
These stitched motifs can be applied to garments, textile compositions, quilting projects, and contemporary textile art pieces.
